The Role
They have an exciting opportunity to join their friendly and supportive team as a HR Manager. Leading a Senior HR Advisor and HR Officer, you will provide HR business partnering support within a geographical hub of schools in Cambridgeshire. Using your HR expertise, you will advise senior leaders on HR management issues, ensuring compliance with policies, employment law, and HR best practices. You will manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary, capability, and grievance cases, as well as organisational change projects such as TUPE. Your support includes professional dotted-line management of the school HR Officers.
Skills and Qualifications
* An experienced HR generalist, qualified to CIPD Level 5 minimum, with employee relations experience in a complex, regulated environment.
* A confident communicator with strong HR knowledge, able to establish credibility and build relationships with stakeholders.
* Proven experience supporting senior leaders as a critical friend, helping build organisational and people capability, and managing people issues effectively.
* An experienced people manager who leads by example and supports team development to ensure excellent HR service delivery.
* HR experience in education is desirable but not essential; training and support will be provided.
This role requires travel between multiple sites, so a current driving licence and access to transport are necessary.
