Job Description
My client is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee day‑to‑day delivery of a renewable‑energy installation project – including the borehole field, plantroom construction and associated M&E.
What is required for the position?
Tickets / Certifications
CSCS, SMSTS First Aid – (Manual Handling and Asbestos Awareness are preferred)
PPE
Hard hat, high vis, steel toe cap boots
Experience / Essential Skills
* Proven background in M&E or renewable energy projects (heat pumps, plantrooms, boreholes, or similar).
* Competent with Microsoft 365 tools – Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing, temporary works, and site logistics.
* Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
References
Must be able to provide 2 recent work references.
Work involved
* Manage and coordinate on‑site M&E and civil works in line with programme and quality standards.
* Lead daily site coordination, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
* Ensure full compliance with CDM and company H&S procedures (RAMS, permits, inductions, inspections).
* Liaise with project manager, subcontractors and client representatives to maintain clear communication and reporting.
* Track progress against programme and provide concise weekly reports (site photos, updates, risk items).
* Oversee material deliveries, storage and logistics.
* Review and sign off daily site records, timesheets, and permits to work.
* Support commissioning and handover preparation with the project and technical teams.
Salary & Working Hours
£250 per day. Working hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm.
