FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Power Platform Developer to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be carried out remotely with occasional office visits to Bristol.
Our client is seeking a PowerPlatform Developer with at least 5 years’ experience to design, develop and implement Power Platform solutions based on established patterns and best practices. You will be working with development teams as well as directly with customers. The role will require you to assist in driving the adoption of cloud solutions using the Power Platform and provide technical advice to team members. This is a critical role in supporting the client by working on the Digital Backlog. This role will primarily focus on migrating existing InfoPath applications and creating new workflows.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the migration process of existing InfoPath applications to PowerAutomate workflows
2. Ensure a seamless transition while maintaining functionality and data integrity
3. Create efficient and effective workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and implement automation solutions
5. Conduct thorough reviews of Power Automate workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to best practices
6. Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for optimisation
7. Develop training materials and conduct workshops to upskill team members in the effective use of Power Automate workflows
8. Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and support to individuals seeking assistance
9. Work closely with the client on-site, based in Bristol, for a minimum of 2 days a week
10. Foster strong working relationships with client stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
