Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team on a refurbishment project in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to support the smooth progress of the project.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Carrying out general repair and maintenance works on site
* Assisting with basic carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks
* Installing fixtures, fittings, and minor joinery work as required
* Supporting trades on site with various tasks during the refurbishment
* Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
* Performing basic plumbing and electrical repairs (where qualified)
* Following health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Own basic tools and PPE
* CSCS card preferred but not essential
