More about your role
As a support to the department lead, you will help to shape, plan, implement, and review the fitness offer within your facility. This role also offers an exciting opportunity to assist with the launch of the new Epping Leisure Centre. You will support, mentor, and manage the team to achieve all fitness-related KPIs. Your key focuses will align with the healthy communities and fitness strategy, including customers, colleagues, retention, technology, commercial aspects, group workouts, and the environment. Additionally, you will develop impactful health and wellbeing initiatives targeted at communities experiencing the greatest health inequalities.
More about you
* Experience working in a gym environment
* Experience delivering group workout classes
* Level 2 Fitness qualification – required
* Level 3 Fitness qualification – desirable
* Experience with Exercise to Music, Group Cycling, or Les Mills programs
* Management experience within a gym environment
