Job Description Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Falkirk, is currently looking to recruit a Catering Manager for an initial 6-month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £18.96/hour PAYE.
This role will be across various sites around Falkirk.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the running of the Catering Department and ensure all events are set up in accordance with the booker’s requirements. To ensure the catering department is fully resourced including staffing, and all processes and procedures are adhered to by staff.
The management of the Catering department.
The management of catering rotas.
Liaise with department heads to ensure rooms are set in accordance with booker's requirements.
Ensure Health and Safety regulations are monitored and maintained by the team to provide a safe and clean working environment and compliance with industry standards.
Ensure the department is run in accordance with the conditions of the premises license.
Manage stock control and place orders as necessary.
Implement and monitor catering cleaning standards.
You will be required to plan and organise your own workload.
Contribute to the development of plans and strategies.
