Hain Celestial in Clitheroeare seeking a driven Quality Manager to lead our site’s Quality Assurance and Auditing teams, ensuring excellence across our Quality Management System (QMS) – from incoming ingredients to final product release. This is a pivotal role where you will champion food safety, product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities / Accountability of the Role:
* Lead and manage the Quality Auditor and Technical teams across the site.
* Maintain and update the QMS documentation, HACCP plans, and internal audit schedules.
* Support the site’s BRC audit readiness and ensure documentation is always audit-ready.
* Investigate customer complaints and provide root cause analysis with clear reporting.
* Oversee testing and analysis (microbiological, allergen, nutritional), acting on results and reporting to the Technical Manager.
* Manage pest control and hygiene systems in collaboration with contractors and internal teams.
* Provide leadership and development to QA and Technical staff, including training, recruitment, and appraisals.
* Support NPD and Process teams to ensure new products meet required QAS standards.
* Be a point of contact for customer audits and technical queries in the Technical Manager’s absence.
* Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives within the technical and operations teams.
What you will need for the Role:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing, ideally in a quality or technical leadership role.
* Strong understanding of QMS, HACCP, internal auditing, and BRC standards.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with confidence presenting to auditors and customers.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience producing detailed reports and data analysis.
* Ideally Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP certifications, with auditing and inspection experience.
* Experience managing and developing a team in a fast-paced production environment.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
