Bramley House our stunning 41 bed care home in Mere, Wiltshire is currently seeking a part-time Cook to work alongside our Head Cook. Hours to be discussed during the interview process (minimum 16 hrs per week). Your main responsibilities will include preparing, cooking and serving delicious, nutritious, healthy hot and cold food, to meet the dietary requirements of our residents. You will get to know our lovely residents and enjoy providing them with wholesome meals and home made cakes and bakes. The successful candidate should have at least one years previous experience as a cook in a similar environment and catering for specialist diets, providing meals for large groups of people, alongside a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Ideally, you will also hold a Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking or equivalent but this is not essential. Youll be confident in engaging with our residents to understand their individual needs and enjoy being part of the wider team in the home. Hours: Part-time to be discussed at interview (minimum 16 hrs per week). Will include weekday and alternate weekend shifts.
Key Requirements: Hygiene certification (Level 2 minimum)

Rate of pay:
£13 per hour weekdays / £14 per hour weekends
