Job Title: Site Manager – New Build Housing

Duration: 4 Months (Freelance / Contract)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build housing project in York. This is a short-term contract role, starting next week, with an expected duration of approximately 4 months.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Day-to-day management of site activities
•Managing subcontractors and trades on site
•Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
•Coordinating works to meet programme deadlines
•Maintaining high quality standards and workmanship
•Liaising with project managers, suppliers, and inspectors
•Keeping site records and reporting progress
Requirements:
•Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build housing projects
•SMSTS (Essential)
•First Aid at Work
•CSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred)
•Strong organisational and leadership skills
•Ability to start immediately
