Part-Time Chef / Cook
We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Chef / Cook to join a residential home based in Kings Norton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a flexible part-time role working 3 days per week, including bank holidays and alternate weekends.
Working Hours and Pay:
3 days per week
7:30 am - 2:30 pm
Flexible days, including bank holidays and alternate weekends
£12.90 per hour weekdays
£13.40 per hour weekends
As the Chef / Cook, you will be the Kitchen Lead and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring residents receive fresh, nutritious meals in a safe and hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Creating varied menus using fresh produce
* Preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
* Leading the daily running of the kitchen
* Always maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
* Ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organised, and compliant with regulations
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook
* Ability to work independently and manage the kitchen effectively
* A strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen standards
* Flexibility to work alternate weekends and bank holidays
* Willingness to provide a DBS check
