We are now seeking a motivated and driven Sales Executive to join our team and play a key role in supporting our continued growth and expanding our impact across the retrofit sector. Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Sales Executive to support the Sales & Commercial Manager in building and developing Cyd Innovation’s retrofit pipeline. This role will focus on outbound engagement, lead qualification, and relationship development, helping to convert early-stage interest into qualified discovery meetings and long-term client opportunities within the social housing and energy efficiency sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market reach, nurturing prospects, and strengthening the sales funnel for PAS 2035 retrofit service Key Responsibilities • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, LinkedIn, and email to engage prospective clients and introduce Cyd Innovation’s retrofit and PAS 2035 services. • Identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities through effective discovery conversations and needs analysis. • Proactively identifying and engaging new prospects via LinkedIn to generate sales opportunities. • Book and coordinate qualified discovery meetings for the Sales & Commercial Manager, supporting consistent pipeline growth and progression. • Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective clients, developing an understanding of organisational challenges and aligning appropriate solutions. • Clearly communicate the value and benefits of retrofit delivery, compliance requirements, and PAS 2035 coordination services. • Generate and develop warm leads, progressing them into qualified opportunities aligned with company sales objectives. • Provide ongoing pipeline support through proactive follow-up and sustained engagement with prospects. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all outreach activity, client interactions, and opportunities within the CRM system. • Work closely with the Sales & Commercial Manager to prioritise leads, share market insights, and support execution of the sales strategy. • Support attendance at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote Cyd Innovation and develop new business opportunities. • Contribute towards achieving monthly and quarterly pipeline, activity, and performance KPIs. • Stay informed on industry developments, funding programmes, and competitor activity within the retrofit and decarbonisation sector. • Provide ad hoc telephone cover and administrative sales support when required. Qualifications & Experience • Proven experience in inside sales, business development, telemarketing, or a similar outbound sales role. • A strong understanding of retrofit services and PAS 2035 standards is desirable but not essential; a willingness to proactively learn and develop sector knowledge is required. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility with prospective clients. • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • Experience using CRM systems (ideally HubSpot) and sales engagement tools. • Ability to work effectively within a hybrid working environment, balancing office-based and remote responsibilities. • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • A proactive, resilient attitude with a genuine willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the company. • Previous experience supporting or attending trade shows and conferences is desirable but not essential.
