The post holder will be responsible for curriculum design and delivery of the SEND(19+ EHCP) study‑programme offer at the Learning and Enterprise College Bexley. They will be expected to develop a strategic, efficient learning offer for learners with EHCP that supports progression towards independence and/or work where appropriate. They will ensure continuous improvement through effective deployment of resources and provision of a diverse, creative, and flexible curriculum.
The post holder will be skilled in understanding the requirements set by relevant legislation and codes of practice in place and will work towards the continued strengthening of the college’s curriculum offer for SEND. They will be confident engaging with a wide range of relevant stakeholders to shape our offer to local needs, engage target groups, and deliver high quality outcomes for learners and partners. You will be supported to undertake professional development activities and further training and be a designated safeguarding officer. You will receive a comprehensive induction and support throughout your role.
