Sales Executive

Location: Daventry

Salary: £29,000-£32,000

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:15-16:45 Friday: 08:30-16:00

Interaction Recruitment are supporting our client in Daventry with their hiring of a Sales Executive on a permanent basis. They have a close knit team and you'll be an important part of their operation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle customer enquiries professionally via telephone and email, delivering an outstanding customer experience
2. Process customer orders, quotations, and sales transactions accurately and efficiently
3. Advise customers on product availability, pricing, and stock levels, ensuring all information is captured correctly
4. Prepare and follow up on quotations and open enquiries to maximise conversion
5. Provide technical advice and specialist product knowledge to support customer needs
6. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell products and promotions
7. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
8. Work closely with the Purchasing and External Sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and sales efficiency
9. Manage customer issues, including order queries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation
10. Support sales campaigns by sending literature and catalogues and following up accordingly
11. Maintain accurate records and update customer information on internal systems
12. Work collaboratively within a small, target-driven team to achieve territory and company goals
13. Attend meetings, training sessions, and regular 1-to-1s with your manager

15. A strong focus on customer experience and relationship building
16. Sales-driven mindset with enthusiasm for meeting and exceeding targets
17. Ability to learn new products, services, and systems quickly
18. Proactive, positive, and “can-do” attitude
19. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload effectively
20. Comfortable working under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
21. Confident, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach to work
