The preferred location is London as this is where majority of the team and stakeholders are based but we will consider applicants who can work from either Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast (Hybrid – min. 2 days in office) or Remote (UK)

This HR Support officer role is part of that journey, supporting the HR services team to deliver an efficient, professional service to colleagues across the organisation.
Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our HR team on a 9-month maternity cover contract. As HR Services Support officer, you will play a vital role in providing administrative and operational support to ensure smooth delivery of HR services.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
* Provide administrative support for HR processes, including preparing letters and documents, updating records, and maintaining HR trackers.
* Collate and input payroll changes (e.g. starters, leavers, absence data) to ensure accurate monthly reporting.
* Maintain and update the HR Information System (HRIS) and run basic reports.
* Raise purchase orders (POs), process HR-related invoices, and keep accurate invoice trackers.
* Respond to routine HR queries from staff and managers, escalating more complex matters to HR Advisers.
This role is a great entry point into HR and offers the chance to build your skills and experience in a supportive team environment.

This role will suit someone who is organised, proactive, resilient, embraces change and committed to delivering excellent service.
You will bring:
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* IT literacy, with confidence in using office software (Word, Excel, email, mail merge)
* A positive, curious mindset with a drive to learn and improve
It would also be an advantage, but not essential, if you have:
* Experience in HR or payroll administration.
* Experience using HR systems or databases
