All About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a driven, passionate Sales Executive to continue to build and develop an already strong portfolio of customers, building long term mutually beneficial relationships. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5pm.

Specific tasks include:

* Develop robust sales plans, within the constraints of operational capacity, that seek to secure profitable new market share and gross margin growth.
* Sourcing new sales opportunities and developing existing customer base.
* Build partnering relationships to understand customer needs and requirements.
* Develop relationships with key accounts so that clear communication lines are open.
* Help to develop new business, ensuring potential clients are aware of what our business has to offer.
* Raising Sales Orders, check stock availability and raising quotations
* Process sales enquiries / orders and see all administration through to completion, ensuring excellent levels of customer service.

You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way.

Essential Skills for the role:

* Previous sales experience within a demanding sales environment and have a proven record of building up accounts and delivering results.
* A strong understanding of the sales process.
* Builds strong relationships quickly, has a proactive attitude & approach.
* Enjoys working to targets and KPI's.
* Ideally previous experience in the steel industry.
