Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and compliant employee records on the HR system.
* Act as the first point of contact for managers, providing professional HR advice and guidance.
* Lead and support employee relations processes including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
* Track and report on sickness, holiday, and absence trends.
* Coordinate and support probation review meetings, ensuring timely follow-up.
* Oversee compliance with employment legislation and internal HR policies.
* Manage payroll preparation and liaise with the payroll team for accurate processing.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, contract changes, and offboarding to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle.
* Work closely with leadership to deliver people initiatives that support business goals.
* Lead or contribute to HR projects such as developing policies, improving systems, and enhancing culture.
* Use HR data and reporting to identify trends, support decision-making, and recommend improvements.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
* Confident handling complex employee relations cases.
* Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the business.
* High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
* CIPD Level 3 (essential) and working towards Level 5. Salary progression in line with CIPD qualifications.
