The Role
As Senior Sales Executive Business Development, youll take the lead on proactive sales efforts across the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events) and corporate markets. This is a strategic, client-facing role focused on generating new business, nurturing existing accounts, and positioning the Glasgow Marriott Hotel as the premier venue in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive revenue through targeted business development strategies
* Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities
* Build and maintain strong client relationships across key accounts
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure flawless event delivery
* Analyse market trends to identify growth areas
* Prepare compelling sales presentations and proposals
* Track KPIs, pipeline performance, and report to hotel leadership
* Maintain accurate client data using CRM tools
What Were Looking For
* Proven experience in hotel sales or hospitality business development (ideally within M&E or corporate segments)
* A strong network and excellent relationship-building skills
* Target-driven, proactive, and commercially astute
* Confident communicator with a polished presentation style
* Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working independently
* Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and networking events
