Sales Executive – Financial Software & Services
Location: London (Hybrid, 3–4 days office-based)

We are partnering with our client – a global provider of software and managed services to the world’s leading financial institutions – to recruit a Sales Executive based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing sales team, covering new business development and account management across the European region.
With over 40 years of experience, our client supports major banks, asset managers, brokers, custodians, insurers, and financial operations teams by transforming middle- and back-office functions with cutting-edge technology. They are a trusted and long-established name in the fintech sector and continue to innovate to meet the industry’s evolving digital transformation needs.
The Role
As a Sales Executive, you’ll manage a portfolio of existing clients while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities. Your goal will be to grow revenue across Europe by offering bespoke fintech solutions tailored to the operational needs of financial services firms.
This position reports to the Head of Sales and Account Management in London.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage relationships with existing clients, ensuring consistent revenue growth and satisfaction.
* Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across Europe.
* Conduct market research to map opportunities and tailor solutions to prospective clients’ needs.
* Engage with senior stakeholders (including C-level) to understand client challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
* Deliver high-quality sales presentations and product demos, in collaboration with the business solutions team.
* Drive the full sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal through to negotiation and deal closure.
* Represent our client at industry events, conferences, and tradeshows.
* Maintain up-to-date records and pipeline data in CRM (Salesforce experience a plus).
* Contribute to sales strategy meetings and cross-functional collaboration sessions.
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong experience in B2B sales within the financial services sector, ideally selling to banks, asset managers, or FinTechs.
* Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets (quarterly/yearly).
* Proven ability to sell complex solutions to new-name clients.
* Skilled in building and maintaining client relationships at senior levels.
* Knowledge of payments, treasury, compliance, finance operations, or post-trade solutions is highly desirable.
* Comfortable navigating global teams and managing remote communication.
* Confident with cold outreach and managing long sales cycles.
Qualifications
* Degree educated (preferably in Business, Technology, or related fields).
