Catering Manager - Kendrew Barracks
* £32,000 per annum
* 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising teams to ensure delivery of excellent food and customer service.
* Overseeing all in-unit operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
* Monitoring stock levels and placing orders across multiple locations.
* Completing end-of-week and end-of-month accounts accurately and on time.
* Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
* Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
* Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
* Identifying opportunities for new service concepts to increase sales.
* Liaising between customers and internal teams to exceed expectations.
* Supporting and training teams, leading by example to foster excellence.
* Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards for compliance.
* This role involves working closely with the General Manager and a large Military team, requiring excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ideal Candidate:
* Passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
* Minimum of two years management experience in a similar sector.
* Strong background in food service provision.
* Experience leading and inspiring operational teams.
* Excellent financial acumen.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to upskill.
