Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Site Manager on behalf of an established main construction contractor to be involved in a major project in Newcastle. Applicants will need to show a track record of excellent management and communication skills with the ability to proactively manage construction projects, including direct labour and sub-contractor resource and the ability to deliver quality construction projects within budget and programme timescales in a safe environment. This company works as principal contractor on projects including: Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Healthcare, Education etc. This is an opportunity to be part of a scheme with a value of £100m+. Duties/Responsibilities: * Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines. * Produce construction phase plans and programming works. * Co-ordination of various sub-contractors and direct delivery teams. * Progress reports and meetings with senior management and clients. * Ordering materials for site and managing supply chain. * Daily site diaries & briefings.
