Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Assist in meal preparation for special events and catering services as required.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
* Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
* Provide support during service hours, including plating and serving meals to guests as needed.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
