Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected, fast-growing and dynamic business at the forefront of the fuel industry who are seeking a proactive Sales Executive to help expand their existing customer base and drive new business across their solid fuel sales division.
As a Sales Executive, you'll be a key player in our expanding team, responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing directly to our business growth. If you're hungry for success and motivated by uncapped earning potential, this role is for you.
Training will be provided on the company's bespoke CRM and pricing systems. This is a fully office-based role with strong progression opportunities, including the potential to lead your own branch as the company continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities for the Sales Executive (Solid Fuel) role:
* Proactively generate leads and convert them into active, loyal customers
* Carry out cold calls and follow up on warm leads to develop new business
* Arrange and attend meetings with potential clients (virtual or in-person)
* Conduct fuel bill analysis and provide tailored proposals
* Perform credit checks using internal systems
* Send introduction emails, letters, and quotations to prospects
* Maintain accurate customer data within our bespoke CRM system
* Support with general admin and any other duties requested by management
Candidate Requirements for the Sales Executive (Solid Fuel) role:
* Proven sales experience, ideally in B2B or the fuel/energy industry
* Confident cold caller and natural relationship builder
* Resilient under pressure with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets
* IT-literate with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated team player
What’s on Offer for the Sales Executive (Solid Fuel) role:
* £25,000–£28,000 basic salary (based on experience)
* Uncapped commission – earn 10% of gross profit from every sale
* Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm (office-based)
