Role Overview
We are seeking resilient and enthusiastic SEN Learning Mentors to support Lead SEN Learning Mentors, Associate SENDCO, and the SENCO with the delivery of curriculum provision and learning support for individuals with enhanced needs and targeted pupils at risk of significant underachievement.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of curriculum provision and learning support for pupils with special educational needs.
* Develop and implement innovative and creative support programmes and interventions to help pupils re‑engage with learning.
* Utilise strategies to support vulnerable children and young people in overcoming barriers to learning.
* Build rapport and communicate effectively with pupils and colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
* Passion for inclusive education.
* Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively.
Working Hours and Salary
Full Time – 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:15–15:15, £19,925 to £21,522 per annum (actual salary), Permanent.
Part Time – 19.5 hours per week, 08:15–15:15, three days a week (days to be discussed at interview), £11,955 to £12,913 per annum (actual salary), Permanent.
