We're looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman / Handywoman / Maintenance Person to join our friendly and professional team at The Quarrybank Group.
This role involves carrying out general maintenance and repair work across our customers properties, including tasks in customers' private homes — so a professional and respectful attitude is essential.
You'll need to be confident working independently, with good problem-solving skills and a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general maintenance and repair work
* Perform plumbing maintenance, including:
* Repairing toilets
* Changing kitchen, basin, and sink taps
* Completing other associated plumbing repairs
* Work safely and respectfully in customers' homes
* Assist with other general maintenance tasks as needed
* Report any issues or additional repair needs promptly
Desirable Additional Skills
Experience in any of the following trades would be a strong advantage:
* Plastering
* Joinery / Carpentry
* Painting and Decorating
* General building or construction experience
Requirements
* Proven experience in maintenance or a similar trade role
* Competent in plumbing maintenance and repairs
* Must have own transport
* Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
* Friendly, polite, and professional when dealing with customers
* Basic tools and equipment (preferred but not essential)
