Job Opportunity: Mental Health Support Worker / Learning Mentor

Protocol Education is seeking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant to join a pupil referral unit in Maldon. You will be part of a dedicated team working primarily with children who have social, emotional, and mental health challenges. No prior experience is necessary, but a desire to help in this area is essential.
Key qualities include a friendly, positive approach to teaching and learning, and the ability to build strong relationships with individual children. A robust character is important, as challenges may arise along the way.
This is a long-term, full-time position, requiring availability five days a week from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

* Willingness to undertake safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS and subscribe to the DBS Update Service
All pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This role is initially temporary, with potential for permanent placement later.
