Location: Belfast, Antrim, United Kingdom.
Overview
We offer expert nursing care and support for up to 59 residents, specialising in caring for individuals with physical disabilities, mental health needs, and acquired brain injuries. We are seeking a dedicated General Assistant to support Housekeeping and Kitchen operations, ensuring residents receive high-quality meals and a clean environment.
Responsibilities
* Ensure expected standards are achieved throughout the home.
* Cover domestic, kitchen and laundry duties.
* Training in all three areas will be provided.
* Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management.
* Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule.
* Use and store cleaning products in accordance to COSHH regulations.
* Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager.
Qualifications
* Numerate and literate with a good standard of English.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety, Fire and Security Regulations.
* Previous experience in a relevant role.
Desired Criteria
* Relevant work experience in a care home or healthcare environment.
* Previous experience gained in a domestic, laundry or kitchen environment.
