Please note: This is a fixed-term maternity cover role for 12 months, working five days a week on site.
What you’ll be doing
* As our HR Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting day-to-day HR operations while acting as the first point of contact for colleagues across the site. It’s a varied and people-facing role with responsibilities including:
* Managing the HR inbox and responding to a wide variety of colleague queries
* Supporting the weekly payroll process with data preparation and accuracy checks
* Coordinating return-to-work documentation and supporting attendance reporting
* Managing general administrative duties, such as raising purchase orders and maintaining stationery stock levels
* Getting creative with event planning and internal communications, often using tools like Canva
* Scheduling meetings, supporting engagement activities and helping the HR team stay organised
* Acting as the first point-of-contact for HR: welcoming colleagues into the office and supporting day-to-day queries
What we’re looking for
* Proactive mindset with a calm, professional manner
* Thrives in a dynamic environment; naturally organised and enjoys helping others
* Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally with some HR exposure
* Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data
* Great people skills – approachable, friendly, and confident dealing with walk-in queries
* Flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to take ownership even when things fall outside your comfort zone
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office, and ideally some experience using HR systems or platforms
* An interest in HR and colleague experience
* Ability to work five days per week on site in Warrington (WA1 4SF) for the next 13 months
