Sales Executive – Conferences, Media & Digital Campaigns
Base Salary: £25,000–£32,000 (depending on experience)
OTE: £45,000+ (uncapped commission)

Are you ambitious, commercially driven, and excited by the world of digital transformation? Futurescot is looking for a high-energy Sales Executive to join our commercial team and help us grow Scotland’s most influential public-sector events and media platforms.
In this role, you will sell sponsorships, advertising and digital engagement opportunities to organisations shaping Scotland’s future — from major technology firms to innovative SMEs and public-sector partners.
This is an office-based role in our Edinburgh (City Centre) headquarters, giving you direct access to your team, your own desk, and a dynamic, fast-paced environment that actively supports collaboration and success.
What You’ll Do
* Own and grow a personal sales pipeline from prospecting to close.
* Sell multi-channel engagement packages across conferences, magazine features, newsletters, webinars, and digital campaigns.
* Book and run discovery calls, present proposals, and close deals.
* Identify new sectors and commercial opportunities aligned to our events and editorial themes.
* Work closely with marketing to deliver targeted outreach and follow-up campaigns.
* Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers across Scotland's digital, government, and public-sector ecosystem.
* Attend major conferences and networking events as part of your role.
What You Bring
* Experience in B2B sales — media, events or sponsorship sales is a strong advantage.
* Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders and selling value-driven solutions.
* A consultative, relationship-led approach to sales.
* Drive, resilience, and a hunger to hit — and exceed — targets.
* Ability to manage a structured pipeline and follow a consistent sales process.
* Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive mindset.
