Role Overview
Apprentice HR Administrator – Fixed term 18 months, full time (35 hours per week). Base salary Grade 3: £25,583 per annum. Location: Central support office, Wythenshawe.
As part of the central HR team, you will support schools across the Trust, deliver excellent administrative service, and progress through a Level 3 apprenticeship in HR Support.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support for HR colleagues and schools, including recruitment tasks such as advertising vacancies and coordinating shortlisting packs.
* Conduct pre‑employment checks to ensure candidates are appropriately qualified and fit for the role.
* Create, maintain and update staff records, ensuring accurate information for HR reporting.
* Manage the HR inbox and make/receive calls from internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop knowledge of routine HR procedures to ensure compliance.
* Operate relevant ICT systems, including Arbor and Office 365.
* Take responsibility for safeguarding, maintain confidentiality and handle relevant issues.
Training & Qualification
Full apprenticeship training will be provided, covering a Level 3 programme in HR Support via the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education. Training includes online learning, on‑site assessment, tutorials, and portfolio work. Successful completion awards the Level 3 HR Support qualification.
Career Progression
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be eligible for a permanent post as an HR Administrator.

* Previous experience in a customer‑facing role, recruitment, or HR setting.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not offered.
* Willingness to undergo standard pre‑employment checks, including references.
