Overview
Working pattern: term time only (38 weeks).
Hours: 29 hours, 8.45am - 3.15pm Monday and 8.45am - 3pm Tuesday - Friday.
Actual starting salary (calculated pro rata): £17,430 per annum. Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
Role
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor to join our dedicated team and provide pastoral support to our pupils. Within this varied and highly rewarding role you will:
* Provide support to the Class Teacher
* Be responsible for the children in your care
* Lead and support children in their learning and development
About the School
Blackthorns Community Primary Academy is a vibrant primary academy in the village of Lindfield, near Haywards Heath in West Sussex. The school has 210 pupils on roll in 7 classes, with one class in every year. It also hosts a facility for up to 8 children with additional learning needs and speech, language, and communication difficulties. As a community primary academy, strong relationships with parents are crucial for children’s progress both academically and personally.
