We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Cook to join the team in our Coffee Shop in Houghton Hall Garden Centre.
Our competitive rate of pay is £12.45 per hour..
All positions include weekends working so flexibility is a must.
The Role
As a Cook, you will be responsible for producing a range of meals and snacks from our menu. You will work at part of a small team under the guidance of the Coffee Shop Manager and be passionate about freshly prepared food served with the highest levels of customer service.
What you will be doing as a Cook?
Prepare fresh ingredients
Prepare hot and cold food orders to order
Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
