Events and celebrations are a key part of our offering across our Family of Hotels and we have an exciting opportunity to lead our Event Sales Team at Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels as the leading option in Scotland for meetings, events, conferences, team building and celebrations.
As the Senior Event Sales Executive you will work within the sales team based at Crieff Hydro Hotel to grow group and event business and increase revenue across our properties within Crieff, Peebles and the West Coast.
We’re looking for a dynamic, excited, positive sales person – with creative energy and innovative ideas – someone to take a senior role and help support the wider sales team to improve conversion, exceed client expectations and increase repeat business.
A background in sales and hospitality is beneficial, along with experience in event planning and sales conversion working as part of a team to meet and exceed targets, find new opportunities, and work with colleagues across the business to create exceptional customer experiences.
You’ll be a natural sales person with a positive outlook, strong communication skills and an ability to think outside the box, often going above and beyond to create memorable experiences for guests.
You’ll be based primarily at Crieff; the role is available on a hybrid basis with a minimum of three days at Crieff and other sites as required.
What do we want you to bring to the table?
* Experience in event management, preferably in a Hotel environment, hospitality or a similar sales role, a positive team player, able to step up and lead where required.
* Experience with sales and CRM systems would be beneficial.
* A high level of organisational skills and planning capability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
* A strong customer focussed approach to business.
* The ability to consider and propose solutions and negotiation skills to support the wider team and increase conversion.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* The resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
