Description

The Sales Executive will lead commercial activities and drive profitable revenue growth, with a primary focus on IMP Markets in Europe, specifically in France.

This role is critical in expanding our footprint in strategically important and technically demanding markets.

It requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and relentless customer focus, with a particular emphasis on Key Account Management and Strategic Selling to build long-term, high-value partnerships.

You will develop and execute a go-to-market strategy balancing End User and OEM, build key customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure our solutions deliver superior value.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate on the elaboration and execute the sales strategy for the IMP markets, ensuring alignment with Watlow’s overall Development Segment goals and the Europe Industrials BU.
* Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities across France and Europe, targeting key players in the Glass, Cement, Gypsum, and Brick & Tile industries.
* Apply Strategic Selling methodologies to navigate complex buying centres, influence decision-making, and position Watlow as the supplier of choice.
* Build and execute detailed Key Account Plans to grow and sustain long-term strategic “high-value” customer relationships through trust, technical expertise, and value creation.
* Lead Voice of Customer (VoC) initiatives to ensure Watlow’s offerings are aligned with evolving market needs.
* Conduct competitive analysis and adapt strategies and tactics to sharpen our market leadership position.
* Achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets across the assigned markets and customer list.
* Develop accurate sales forecasts, maintain a strong opportunity pipeline, and drive CX CRM use and data accuracy.
* Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Application Support and Sales Operations teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers.
* Support pricing strategies within your DOA, contract negotiations, and margin management activities.
* Serve as a key voice of the IMP markets within Watlow, influencing product development and Services initiatives.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Extensive experience in sales or business development within an industrial B2B environment, ideally in thermal systems, process automation equipment, or industrial material processing sectors.
* Strong technical understanding of industrial processes related to Glass, Cement, Gypsum, or Brick & Tile is highly preferred.
* Proven track record in Key Account Management and Strategic Selling, with demonstrable success in complex sales cycles and high-value negotiations driving profitable revenue growth, Gross Margin, up to sustainable EBITDA,
* Strong capabilities in building customer relationships and delivering sustainable commercial success.
* Willingness to travel as required to meet customer needs and attend industry events. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, representing Watlow at conferences, trade shows, internal and customer meetings.
* Fluent in English and French; additional European languages are a plus.
* Leadership style: customer-centric, results-driven, collaborative, and entrepreneurial.
