Job Description
Security Wise have been protecting people and property for 40 years. We are seeking an individual who will proactively seek new contract opportunities within the security industry for intruder, CCTV & Access control and smart home technology, developing new relationships both within the domestic and commercial markets. This can be via a variety of methods including emails, telephone, social media and networking. Establishing a database of long-term client relationships, the creation of tailored security and compliance solutions, and the expansion of recurring revenue streams through maintenance and monitoring.
Experience with in the electronic security industry preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively developing new business relationships through direct and indirect sales techniques including by social media channels, exhibitions, networking events, call prospecting and existing client relationships.
* Achieve and exceed month sales targets.
* To identify security solutions opportunities that are profitable and meet business objectives.
* To provide details proposals and leading on tender request submissions.
* Liaising with external marketing company, colleagues and customers directly in a professional manner- face to face, as well as via e-mail and telephone.
* Meeting with consultants, architects, builders etc.
* Working from various databases, web-based programs, MS Office and CRM.
* Maintaining and developing relationships within existing customers and promoting the latest security innovations.
* Continued training to maintain knowledge of product roadmap and latest technology changes

Essential Requirements for the Job
* Some security industry experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided
* The ability to self-generate opportunities within our target sectors
* A proven track record in new business development and account retention
* Proactive response to all situations
* Consultative approach with emphasis on new business opportunities
* Exceptional communications skills
* Good time management and planning skills
* An ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships
