Base Location: London plus network of 20 offices nationally:

Our Learning Solutions curriculum is designed to deliver more than just training. A core part of our offering is to help clients make the connection between what their workforce has in terms of measurable skills and what they need to have and accelerates the speed that they can close the gap. This helps clients realise their immediate and future strategic business aims quickly, flexibly, and efficiently.



What will you be doing?



1. Work across customers in the UK to understand and help meet the evolving skills and capability requirements of organisations and employers. Manage and grow existing accounts to maximise revenue and margin opportunities.
2. Achieve individual and team revenue targets agreed for each fiscal year through sales activity - using both proactive approaches to clients and responding to procurement activity like tenders.
3. Build a deep understanding of the market and its drivers and create business development and marketing initiatives to grow footprint and adoption with customers.
4. Identify the most effective learning related interventions to support customer professional and strategic priorities
5. Develop deep and extensive client relationships built upon a thorough understanding of our client’s business needs and capability challenges
6. Boost sales conversion through the deployment of rigorous sales processes, pricing, contracting and negotiation to win work
7. Develop, respond to and manage responses to RFPs and bid requirements
8. Prioritise work and to meet deadlines in a demanding environment
9. To actively fulfil people leadership responsibilities within the Connected Learning team, including through performance management of designated appraises and support to wider team
10. Able to work with discretion due to the sensitive nature of the role
11. Continuously working towards a culture of inclusion



What will you need to do it?



12. Have a strong understanding of sales, engagement and business development processes
13. Proven and successful experience leading and closing complex deals and bids, including tender writing.
14. Teamwork: ability to collaborate with others in own team and across boundaries; acknowledges others' contributions; works effectively with individuals of different culture and gender; willing to seek help as needed.
15. Have excellent writing/editing skills
16. Strong commercial and risk acumen
17. Requirements analysis and solution building
18. Challenges assumptions and validates information.

21. Excellent presentation and proposal development skills

This position will largely be based in London
