HR Administrator – 12 Month Maternity Cover
Location: Derby
Salary : £25- £30k DOE
We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to provide efficient and confidential support for a 12-month maternity cover. This role will play a key part in the smooth running of HR services across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer recruitment and selection, including advertising, liaising with agencies, arranging interviews, preparing offers and contracts, and obtaining references.
Maintain employee files, training records, HR databases, and KPI updates.
Coordinate inductions, probationary reviews, and training activities.
Draft HR correspondence including letters, contracts, notices, and minutes.
Support HR processes such as sickness consultations and disciplinaries (after training).
Ensure HR policies and procedures are adhered to.
Key Skills:
Previous HR or payroll administration experience
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
High levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage workload effectively and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Monday to Thursday 8-5 Friday 8-1 (39 hrs )
