Site Manager Residential Main Contractor High Rise New Build Freelance: 12 Months Rate: Up to £280 per day Location: Leeds We are currently searching for a Site Manager to join a busy team on a 300-unit high-rise residential project in Leeds. The project is currently at RC Frame stage with one block topped out and the second topping out in mid-January. The role itself will be internally biased but good general all-round knowledge is required. The role: Plan and manage all internal package activities, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, managing groundworks teams and subcontractors, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Ensure all internal package activities comply with health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe working practices are followed. Monitor internals packages to ensure they meet technical specifications and design requirements. Oversee costs associated with activities, track budgets, and take corrective actions to avoid cost overruns. Liaise with site managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of groundworks tasks and address any issues or changes. Address and resolve issues that arise during the build, including technical challenges, delays, or material shortages. Maintain accurate records of progress, quality inspections, daily site reports, and any variations to scope. Required: Proven history delivering residential projects from RC Frame onwards. 3 years Site Manager experience, working with either a main contractor or developer on high rise schemes.
