Job Description
We’re looking for a MEP Site Manager (Mechanical) to join our Faslane & Coulport Naval bases team based in Faslane & Coulport Naval bases. Location: Faslane & Coulport Naval bases – On Site Hours: 42.5 hours per week; some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Responsibilities
* Oversee site management of mechanical services including HVAC, pipework, plant, ductwork, public health, and BMS interfaces.
* Coordinate mechanical works alongside electrical, CSA, and specialist packages to ensure seamless MEP integration.
* Manage day‑to‑day site activities, logistics, access, safety, and quality while promoting a safety‑first culture.
* Ensure mechanical installations meet design specifications and quality standards, managing inspections, snagging, and sign‑off.
* Support testing, commissioning, and handover procedures, maintaining clear communication with subcontractors, project teams, and client stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an MEP or Mechanical Site Manager on large‑scale construction projects with a strong mechanical background in building services.
* Skilled at managing multiple subcontractors on live construction sites with excellent coordination, leadership, and communication abilities.
* Possess SMSTS and CSCS qualifications and sound knowledge of UK building regulations and mechanical services standards.
* Understand commissioning and handover processes, with experience on projects with £10m+ MEP value.
* Relevant mechanical or building services qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree preferred) and a full driving licence.
