🔧 Experience in Retrofit Required
WPS has an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our team within the Planned Works division. This role is based out of our Salisbury/South Wiltshire office, working on Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund projects including:
1. Solar PV
2. External Wall Insulation (EWI)
3. Internal Wall Insulation (IWI)
4. Loft Insulation
5. Ventilation
6. Heating systems
📋 Key Responsibilities:
7. Input into programming and short-term planning of works.
8. Manage operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain quality and safety standards.
9. Attend pre- and post-inspection works, advise on job requirements, and assist with design solutions.
10. Deliver and hand over schemes successfully.
11. Produce weekly site progress reports and submit electronically to the Project Manager.
12. Ensure completed job packs and completion details are submitted promptly to support invoicing and cash flow.
✅ Requirements:
13. Proven experience in internal and external planned maintenance works, with a strong background in retrofit.
14. Full accreditation in asbestos awareness and scaffold inspections.
15. SMSTS certification.
16. Valid First Aid Certificate.
17. Full UK Driving Licence.
🌟 What We’re Looking For:
An experienced Site Manager with a successful track record, strong leadership skills, and a positive, engaging approach to site management. You’ll be a confident communicator with excellent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
