Overview
A leading FMCG business based in Manchester is looking to recruit a Customer Service Manager for an imminent start on an initial 6 month contract with the potential to go permanent. As Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for ensuring customers receive a first class service from pre-sale to post-sale interactions, overseeing a passionate team to drive a best in class customer service experience.
Responsibilities
* Oversee operational performance to deliver service and productivity targets with a strong customer-first focus
* Allocate tasks effectively, ensuring alignment with available resources and team capabilities
* Hold regular one-to-one meetings to support team members’ wellbeing, empowerment, and development
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all UK Order-to-Cash and Integrated Customer Contact Centre processes in line with SOPs
* Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues or enquiries from key internal stakeholders
* Build and sustain knowledge of the CI Framework, with a particular focus on the role of leadership in continuous improvement, to actively support the CI journey
Qualifications
* Previous experience working as a Customer Service Manager
* Available for an imminent start
* Digitally orientated with excellent knowledge of various systems with experience of AI and advanced operating processing systems
* Experience handling customer complaints and queries
* ERP and CRM experience
