HR Operations Administrator
Location: Central London (Hybrid – 4 days/week)
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 + Bonus
Contract Type: Permanent
A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Operations Administrator to join its HR team in London. This role will play a key part in delivering a seamless onboarding experience and supporting core HR operational processes across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, USA, and Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Compliance:
* Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for employees and contingent workers, including contract generation, background screening, SMCR-regulated referencing, and induction coordination.
* Act as the primary contact for the organisation’s background checking provider.
HR Operations:
* Coordinate offboarding activities for leavers, ensuring compliance and consistency.
* Respond to employee queries via the HR inbox, providing timely and accurate support.
* Draft and issue internal HR communications.
* Maintain HRIS data integrity and produce regular reports.
* Review and update HR policies and documentation in line with regulatory and business requirements.
* Support early careers initiatives and programmes.
* Collaborate with the Chief People Officer and external consultants on HR process improvements.
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience in HR administration or onboarding, ideally within Financial Services or a professional services environment.
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capability.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operationally focused HR role.
* Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information.
