You'll be a key point of contact for candidates and colleagues, so strong communications skills, and professionalism are vital. Main duties and responsibilities of this role include: Supporting recruitment – creating job adverts and uploading to our ATS and job boards/Linkedin, reviewing applications in line with the requirements of the role, conducting pre-screening calls, and scheduling interviews, note taking during interviews, conducting right to work checks, obtaining references, managing candidate feedback and our recruitment process to ensure successful recruitment outcomes Scheduling the onboarding/induction process for new employees – working with the relevant line manager to schedule induction sessions, sending out induction forms and comms, ensuring IT platforms and equipment are ordered and set up by relevant team members, and issued and signed for via our HR Management system Assisting the People & Performance Manager with learning & development administration within the business, including: arranging and promoting in-house training sessions; researching and booking external courses, raising purchase order’s and co-ordinating the HR Management system in line with the L&D process; uploading certificates, obtaining course feedback and maintaining knowledge libraries Maintaining and administering allmanhall’s HR Management System and ensuring data is accurate and kept up to date and supporting with HR reports and maintaining the HR metrics dashboard Maintaining and updating all people-related documentation, including organisational charts, HR systems, company documents, and presentations and company asset management across the employee lifecycle Support with the creation and review of HR related letters, forms and processes in line with company updates and legislation changes Supporting employee engagement and internal engagement initiatives aimed at fostering a positive workplace culture, working closely with events and company administration team members Other administrative duties relating to allmanhall’s team The Candidate Essential requirements: A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills Highly organised with outstanding attention to detail Experienced administrator Confident using Word, Excel and PowerPoint A self-starter with a proactive approach to work and problem-solving Discreet and professional, able to handle confidential information with care A positive team player Interested in pursuing a longer-term career in HR A fast learner who can multitask and follow through on tasks to completion There are no public transport links to our office, therefore holding a valid, full driving licence and owning (or having access to) a car or other mode of private transport is essential Desirable requirements: Experience working in HR or a related degree/qualification Advanced Excel skills Experience using Adobe InDesign and Canva A genuine interest in HR, Learning & Development and employee engagement The contract Hours: 25-30 hours per week. Working pattern to be discussed at interview stage. Duration: 12-month fixed term contract, with opportunity to go permanent based on organisational requirements. Our normal office hours are: Monday to Friday 08:45 – 17:15 (with an early finish on Fridays at 16:15) Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and contracted hours.
