The building contractor has always been known to have an excellent reputation, focusing on the delivery of construction projects ranging from £2m - £10m, including refurbishment & new build. The Candidate The Candidate we are looking for is someone who can prove longevity experience working as an Assistant Site Manager across varied sectors, on projects up £5m value. Ideally they are looking for someone with experience with listed buildings, roofing & refurbishment. Also someone who is looking to step up in to a more senior Site Manager level. The Project The contractor operating in Bicester, are carrying out a refurbishment to an aircraft hanger, generally the re-roofing and refurbishment. This includes removal of Cladding / Roofing. Refurbishment of existing structure, installing new structural supports, glazing, roofing, Glazing and much more! The candidate must require - SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid / • Managing day to day activities on site of the site team and sub-contractors • Sub-contract and material procurement • Construction plan • Health & Safety • Progress reports and site meetings • Programming - short term (1 week / 2 week look-ahead) • Quality control • Liaison with the design team, M&E consultants, project architect, structural engineer and building control On offer for the above position is an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join a privately owned main contractor, where the owners are personable, supportive and allow the managers to manage and be themselves.
