About You
* You're an expert in X++ development within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), with a track record of delivering high‑quality solutions.
* You understand core Finance functionality - General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Budgeting - and can translate business processes into technical designs.
* Passionate about innovation, you stay ahead of AI and automation trends and know how to apply them to real‑world finance and operational challenges.
* You're skilled in building and maintaining integrations via REST APIs, data entities, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and Azure services.
* You follow DevOps best practices using Lifecycle Services, Azure DevOps, and Git.
* You have strong problem‑solving abilities, from performance tuning modules to troubleshooting complex technical issues.
* You communicate clearly, collaborate across cross‑functional teams, and document solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
* You hold (or are working toward) Microsoft Certification as a Dynamics 365 Finance Developer Associate, and you're eager to continue growing your expertise.
Into the detail
* Design, develop, and maintain customisations in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations using X++, .NET, and other applicable technologies.
* Develop and manage integrations between D365 and other internal or external systems using REST APIs, data entities, Power Platform, and Azure services.
* Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and key users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Participate in all phases of the application lifecycle including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
* Optimise performance of D365 Finance modules, ensuring reliability and scalability.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ongoing operations.
* Follow DevOps practices using LCS, Azure DevOps, and source control (Git).
* Ensure code quality and compliance with best practices, security standards, and company policies.
* Participate in upgrade and patching efforts, including regression testing of customisations.

* Base Salary £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
