I have an exciting opportunity for an to join an ambitious and friendly People & Culture Team on a 12 month fixed-term contract, reporting into the HRBP.
The successful candidate will have previously worked in an HR Administrator or HR Assistant capacity and will therefore be competent in delivering core transactional HR services to employees with some experience of employee relations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their skills and experience within employee relations, recruitment and other specialist areas such as employee engagement, learning and development and compensation and benefits within the global space, and with the support of the HR Business Partners.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing professional HR guidance and support to business area managers by:
1. Building positive relationships with management teams and evidencing the value of following HR policies and processes
2. Advising on performance management including disciplinary and grievance processes at specified levels
3. Advising and supporting on the management of sickness absence, maternity absence, flexible working and parental leave requests
4. Assisting in identifying employee development requirements and talent within the organisation
5. Providing advice to managers and supporting them in maintaining positive mental health within their teams
6. Lead and support on HR policy and process design and implementation across the organisation
Acquisition and retention of talent by:
7. Delivering an efficient and legally compliant recruitment process suitable to the geography, including all necessary administration that enables the attraction the best talent available via a variety of channels
8. Support managers to short-list potential candidates for roles, and during the interview process
9. Design and deliver induction programmes that ensure new employees are fully equipped to succeed
10. Identify continuous improvement opportunities across the employee lifecycle
Provide support and professional guidance to employees by:
11. Ensuring an understanding of the benefits on offer
12. Assisting in accessing support mechanisms such as EAP and Healthcare benefits
13. Supporting career and development opportunities within the organisation
Administration:
14. Responsible for the collation of HR metrics data and production of Management Information and reports.
15. Day to day maintenance of the nominated HR database, ensuring data protection compliance at all times. This includes inputting employee data on the HR online system, including details of new starters, leavers, change to terms and conditions and amendments to personal details.
16. Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of all electronic systems and processes, managing the HR Team’s content.
17. Supporting the HR Business Partners’ and People and Culture Director with any other general Human Resources or People Development activities as required.
