We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist. Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus
* Assist in meal preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality standards
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs
* Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes
* Serve meals to guests, ensuring an excellent dining experience
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
* Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to maintain hygiene standards
* Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, particularly in high-volume settings
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
* Strong communication skills for interacting with both kitchen staff and guests
