The Role
To ensure the smooth running of our client's recycling facility. Managing staff rotas, sickness, and holiday. Recruiting new staff and managing a pool of candidates to ensure the plant is fully staffed at all times. Ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction and upholding the Company’s reputation for excellent service and compliance.
The onsite recruiter will become an expert in the sector, learning all aspects of the business to recruit, train, and support the best workforce for the business.
Overview
* You will support the smooth running of the facilities.
* Build and maintain excellent relationships with the client, ensuring outstanding service delivery.
* Manage the onsite flexible workforce, including staff rotas, sickness, holiday, and processing timesheets.
* Recruit flexible workers and manage a pool of candidates to ensure the plant is fully staffed at all times.
* Complete weekly payroll.
* Carry out onsite inductions when required.
* Manage compliance and employee records.
* Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and uphold the Company’s reputation for excellent service and compliance.
* Maintain site Health, Safety, and Environmental standards (including housekeeping) to a high standard.

Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience in a recruitment background is essential.
* Working knowledge of Health & Safety at work.
* Understanding of waste and recycling collection operations is an advantage.
* Must demonstrate problem-solving skills.
* Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
* Very good numeracy skills.
* Ability to multitask under pressure.
* Flexible, adaptable approach is essential.
