Undertake all functions involved in the daily operation and service delivery within the gym. This includes supervising the gym floor, undertaking various gym appointments such as gym programming and reviews, providing floor-based coaching, and actively engaging to recruit and retain members. As a Fitness Instructor, you will deliver high-quality service by inspiring and motivating customers, supporting them to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities include:
1. Motivating and supporting customers to increase retention and achieve their goals.
2. Carrying out gym appointments, including Welcome Workouts, Personal Plans, and reviews.
3. Providing advice on equipment use and exercise techniques to ensure safety.
4. Delivering gym floor group training sessions and workshops as required, possibly across sites.
5. Creating and promoting gym challenges to engage members.
6. Participating in the membership sales process to promote benefits of membership and group exercise.
7. Meeting performance KPI targets set by the Operations Manager.
8. Creating content for websites and social media platforms.
9. Assisting in organizing events, program development, and promotions.
10. Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic gym environment during supervision hours.
11. Performing maintenance checks and ensuring equipment is functional.
General duties:
1. Wearing the provided uniform and maintaining a professional appearance.
2. Adhering to health and safety policies.
3. Attending training sessions and team meetings.
4. Completing administrative tasks as needed.
Additional notes:
* Private business promotion within Wave facilities and to members is prohibited.
* Inform Wave of external classes and programs to avoid conflicts of interest.
* Using images of Wave facilities or members for private promotion without permission is not allowed.
* Attending team meetings and working across different sites may be required.
* Qualifications desired include L3 PT and GP referral; willingness to work towards these is preferred.
* Deliver appointments aligned with qualifications.

Experience: Similar work environment.
Qualifications: L2 Fitness Instructing.
Specialist Knowledge: Interest in health and fitness, equipment maintenance, behavior change, and goal setting.
Skills: Good communication, computer literacy (MS Office, email).
Other: Flexibility with business demands, adherence to policies and procedures.
