Job Description
A Tier One main contractor is looking for a talented and hard-working Quality Manager to join their team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients such as local councils and major infrastructure projects. Initially working in Manchester, there would be an expectation of travel to sites further afield (Leeds, Sheffield, and the surrounding areas) as the company expands its presence in the North. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role for an established company growing their presence in a new location. The role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary, and other benefits.
Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing quality across a portfolio of highways projects and frameworks
* Managing quality documentation and processes
* Engaging with internal Quality and Procore forums
* Supporting the development and education of team members regarding quality
* Embracing continuous improvement and Lean concepts
* Ensuring rigorous Quality Assurance checks are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications
Person Specification:
* Expertise in documentation and reporting (quality processes, non-conformances, audit results)
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
* Leadership and teamwork abilities
* Excellent communication and collaborative working skills
* Attention to detail and a high-quality standard
* Full UK driving license
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 Packages [Essential]
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt [Desirable]
* Knowledge of ISO9001 [Desirable]
* Working knowledge of Procore [Desirable]
