We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a small-scale refurbishment project based in Birmingham city centre. This is a short-term contract role, running for approximately 4 weeks, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day site operations on a live refurbishment project
* Coordinate and manage trades on site to ensure timely and quality delivery
* Ensure health & safety regulations are adhered to at all times
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the client as required
* Report progress and manage any on-site issues effectively
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects
* Strong trade background (e.g. carpentry, etc.) preferred
* SMSTS or SSSTS certification (must-have)
* First Aid at Work certificate
* Ability to manage small teams and work to tight deadlines
* Reliable, hands-on, and proactive attitude

* Small-scale commercial/internal refurbishment
* Central Birmingham location – easily accessible via public transport
* 3-week contract with potential for further work on upcoming projects
